Let's GobyTripo AI
Transform 2D concept art and product photos into watertight, subdivision-ready quad meshes with realistic PBR materials
Take single concept illustrations or complete orthographic angle sets and turn them into watertight, textured 3D meshes in three focused steps.
From quad retopology and PBR map generation to automated multi-angle fusion, build production-grade 3D assets without manual modeling bottlenecks.
Explore reconstructed 3D assets spanning industrial hardware, fashion accessories, and stylized game props generated directly from reference imagery.
See how game developers, industrial designers, e-commerce brands, and visual effects teams use rapid 3D reconstruction to accelerate prototyping.
Image-to-3d reconstructs a complete 3D mesh from a single front-facing photo by estimating depth and hallucinating unseen angles, whereas multiview-to-3d fuses matching front, back, left, and right orthographic images to resolve exact geometric proportions. Use image-to-3d for rapid concept ideation when only one reference exists, and choose multiview-to-3d when you have multi-angle reference photos and require consistent 360-degree symmetry.
Provide multi-angle reference images when your object requires exact dimensional accuracy, consistent rear details, or complex multi-sided branding. Single-image reconstruction works quickly for early concepting, but relying on generative depth hallucination can produce simplified or symmetrical approximations on occluded sides.
Tripo 3D exports standard GLB files by default and automatically switches to FBX export when quad meshing is enabled. Quad meshing generates clean, four-sided polygonal topology optimized around a 10,000 face budget, making the output immediately suitable for subdivision, sculpting, and rigging in Blender or ZBrush.
Avoid objects featuring transparent or translucent glass, hyper-reflective mirror or polished chrome finishes, and ultra-fine detached micro-structures such as loose wires or hair strands. The model is also not intended for CAD-grade mechanical engineering components that demand sub-millimeter mathematical tolerances.
Enabling PBR generates dedicated roughness, metallic, and normal maps alongside the diffuse color texture. This overrides standard diffuse texture settings to ensure realistic surface light interaction across real-time game engines and 3D rendering viewports.
